STUDENT PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
East Africa Baptist College is a Baptist college. All students should understand that Baptist doctrine; Baptist Distinctives; and Baptist polity will be taught.
East Africa Baptist College admits Baptist students to all the privileges and programs generally accorded or made available to students of the College.
Because of our Biblical conviction concerning the qualifications of a preacher, the Pastoral program is only for men.
*1 To be accepted as a student at East Africa Baptist College, each applicant shall be a member in good standing of a Baptist Church, give testimony of their new birth experience, and be of good moral character. All students must actively be involved in the ministry and programs of their local church under the direction of their pastor. All students should participate in their local church’s soul winning program at least on a weekly basis. Each student should schedule a time when he or she daily fellowships with God in prayer and by reading the Bible (Psalm 1:2; Daniel 6:10).

ACCREDITATION
East Africa Baptist College is a non formal religious institution and does not seek the approval or accreditation of the non-Christian academic world. However, we do have the recognition of virtually all of the Independent Baptist Colleges, Institutes, and Seminaries in Uganda. Credits earned from East Africa Baptist College are widely accepted for transfer by the aforementioned schools.
We are still in the process of registering EABC as a non-formal institute in Uganda.
TRANSFER OF CREDITS
East Africa Baptist College agrees to accept the transfer of credits earned through other credible institutions of higher learning, while reserving the right to determine what credits will or will not transfer. We do not guarantee the transfer of credits from any other school.
If transferring credits to East Africa Baptist College, forward a transcript or report of grades and credits earned from each institution of higher learning you have attended to EABC. Acceptance of any transferred credits is left to the discretion of the college administration.

Neither the College, the Church, or the pastors or workers of the church and college are in any way responsible for the student’s finances; clothes; board; food; medical assistance; injuries that happen while at church, college, or activities sponsored by the church or college; support; job (work); transportation to or from college, church, work, etc.; or a position (job) now or after graduation; or any other type of assistance. Students are responsible to provide for and maintain themselves. They are also encouraged to have their own medical insurance plan.
It is the responsibility of the student to know the rules of the college, and to read all notices that are posted on the college notice board located in Guimon Hall.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
DESCRIPTIONS & REQUIREMENTS
1 Year: Certificate of Attendance for Biblical Studies
The Biblical Studies program requires the completion of 32 credit hours as approved by the Administration.
This program is designed to give you a better understanding of the Word of God. This course is good for those in church who wish to learn more about the Bible, and it is the starting point for those who wish to go on for further training.
2 Year: Certificate of Attendance for Christian Counseling
Prerequisite: Biblical Studies
This course requires the completion of 64 credit hours as approved by the College Administration.
This program is designed to give you a more thorough understanding of God’s Word. This course is also good for those who wish to be involved in helping others with Biblical counseling.
3 Year: Certificate of Attendance for Church Administration
Prerequisite: Biblical Studies & Christian Counseling
This course requires the completion of 128 credit hours as approved by the College Administration.
The Church Administration program is designed for those who will be ministering in various positions within the local church.
Such positions may include Pastoral Assistants, Church Secretaries, Youth directors, Music directors, etc.
4 Year: Men & Ladies – Certificate of Attendance for Advanced Theology
Men – Certificate of Attendance for Pastoral Theology
Prerequisite: Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling & Church Administration
These two programs require the completion of 128 credit hours as approved by the Administration.
The Theology program is designed for Men and Ladies who want to work with youth, help to establish churches and have a better understanding of God, His Word, and His Will.
The Pastoral Theology program is designed for men who have been called of God as a Pastor, Evangelist, Youth Director, or Music Leader.
